Abstract:

A new study in Cell Metabolism found that young men consuming ultra-processed foods gained more weight and had worse cholesterol, even when calorie counts matched healthier diets. The research also linked processed diets to reduced sperm quality and reproductive hormones, raising concerns for heart, metabolic, and fertility health.
