Study Finds that Both Children and Adults May Experience Weight Gain from Juice Consumption

Abstract:

A thorough analysis of more than 40 studies revealed a possible connection between fruit juice consumption and adult and pediatric weight increase. Researchers from Harvard and the University of Toronto found that kids who drank only fruit juice on a daily basis tended to put on weight. The study found that children's body mass index (BMI) increased by 0.03 points for every serving of 100% fruit juice they had each day.
