Ontario's paramedic services face critical strain, leaving communities concerned as ambulances remain unavailable for extended periods. Shockingly, the province fails to monitor this issue. Although data on paramedics' wait times in ERs is known, it's kept confidential. Calls for action to aid paramedics intensify, but the absence of public information hampers a clear understanding of the problem's magnitude.
