Ontario government is investing $239 million into extending the temporary wage increase for PSWs and support workers in all publicly funded care homes, long-term care, public hospitals, and social services. This temporary wage increase is set to continue until June 30th, 2021 and is set to attract and retain the workforce needed to provide the high level of care during the pandemic.
