Abstract:

A study suggests azelastine nasal spray could lower COVID-19 and other respiratory infections. While results are encouraging, the spray isn’t FDA-approved for prevention and should not replace vaccines or masks. Researchers say larger studies are needed to confirm effectiveness and safety in reducing infections.
