Health Canada has approved Zepbound (tirzepatide) as the first medication for moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea in adults with obesity. Clinical trials showed significant reductions in breathing interruptions during sleep. Experts say the drug offers a new treatment option alongside lifestyle changes and existing therapies like CPAP.
