On June 27, the Liberal government will broaden the federal dental program's reach to encompass children and individuals with disabilities. Those under 18 and receiving the disability tax credit can apply, extending eligibility to about 1.2 million individuals. Qualifying criteria include being uninsured with a household income below $90,000 annually.
