The number of children impacted by lead-contaminated apple puree pouches has increased, according to the FDA, from 34 cases last week to 52 cases currently recorded across 22 states. The main affected age group is children (1-4). Among the recalled goods are the Schnucks and Weis cinnamon applesauce pouches and WanaBana apple cinnamon fruit puree, which are available for purchase at Dollar Tree and Amazon.
