Dental Checkup Frequency: Survey Reveals Insufficient Visits Amongst Many Canadians


Over one-third of Canadians didn't visit a dentist in the past year, per a recent Statistics Canada report. From 2022 data, 35% lacked dental insurance, and 25% skipped dental care due to expenses. The government is working on a new dental insurance plan targeting nine million people with incomes below $90,000, with $13 billion allocated over five years.
