Critical care nurses in high demand in Ontario as 3rd wave puts pressure on hospitals

Abstract:

Ontario critical caregivers are in high demand, more so than they were a year ago when the pandemic began. With each patient assigned one nurse to prevent COVID-19 spread, the caregivers are finding themselves working long hours while dealing with extreme cases of COVID-19 all while fearing for their own well being.
