Canadian Confidence in Healthcare Improvement Wanes Despite Federal Health Accord

Abstract:

A recent Leger survey indicates that most Canadians are not optimistic about the chances of their provinces' healthcare quality improving. Despite the federal government's efforts to address the healthcare problem by means of a $196 billion health accord intended to address the shortage of healthcare staff and increase healthcare financing, this view nevertheless endures.
