Ottawa gives provinces $1B for long-term care
Announcement from the federal government on Monday, November 30th brings welcome $1 billion for long-term-care over 2 years. The funds provided to each province will need to be spent in accordance to a detailed spending plan that the provinces will have to submit and demonstrate adherence to.

Personal Support Worker Return of Service (PSW ROS) Initiative
To attract newly graduated Personal Support Workers to work in Long-Term Care homes and Home and Community Care agencies in greatest need across Ontario, the provincial government has introduced an initiative providing $5,000 incentive to recent PSW graduates in exchange for a six-month commitment to an eligible Long-Term Care or Home and Community Care employer.
